Aqueduct residents
past and
present joined members of the Britannia
Historical Society to remember the war dead of Aqueduct Village. The
short but mooving service took place beneath the 213 year old Aqueduct
bridge, which gave the village its name. Reverend Henry Morris,
Reverend Marilyn Peters and Reverend Emma Philips offered prayers;
poems were read by Neil Clark, Cllr. Ray Haire and John Forde.
Local musicians provided the music for a hymn and also the "Last Post".
Leaders of the 1st Brookside Scout Group gave a guard of honour.
